Domestic Ticket Sales Increase In November

         The sale of domestic airfares in November rose 2.4 percent over the  same month in 2012, to reach $2.7 billion, according to the Airlines Reporting Corp. (ARC), which handles the banking of airline ticket sales.
For the first 11 months of this year, domestic ticket sales are 0.2 percent above last year, ARC said.





On international routes, ticket sales declined by 2.5 percent in November to reach $2.3 billion. For the year so far, international sales are 0.5 percent ahead of last year, according to ARC.
